Mr. Curmi – A Journey of Dedication and Respect in Tang Soo DoMr. Curmi began his Tang Soo Do training at the age of 34. After three years of dedicated practice, he earned his 1st Dan Black Belt in 2014, in Dublin, Ireland.
For Mr. Curmi, Tang Soo Do is much more than a physical discipline—it is a way of life. He believes that the art teaches not only mental and physical skills, but also helps instill important values, especially when learned at a young age. One of the most significant of these values is respect, which he describes as a deep feeling of esteem toward others. Mr. Curmi emphasizes that caring for ourselves physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually builds the foundation for forming meaningful relationships with those around us.
Currently, Mr. Curmi is on his path to earning his 4th Dan Black Belt, a Master Rank in Tang Soo Do, reflecting his dedication to the art. He also teaches at the Yue Gym Complex every Saturday from 9:00 to 10:15 AM, welcoming students aged 6 and up.
