Boris Curmi began his training in Tang Soo Do at the age of 34. In 2014, after three years of consistent training, Boris attained his 1st Dan Black Belt in Dublin, Ireland in front of Grand Master Ki Yun Yi.
According to Boris, Tang Soo Do teaches not only the mental and physical aspects of the art but also helps instill certain fundamental ideals, especially if started at a young age. One of the most important of these is respect which denotes a positive feeling of esteem towards other persons. Taking care of ourselves physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually ensure solid foundations for the formation of deep feelings towards those around us.
Currently, Boris is on his way of acquiring his 4th Dan Black Belt which is a Master Rank in the art of Tang Soo Do.
