5th , Demonstration of excellence event The idea behind it is to evaluate how a student is performing and recognize work ethics amongst students. The event will not give a 1st 2nd or 3rd place trophy and will not be motivated by a competitive method. We are hoping for a maximum participation, this will then identify areas that we need to work on in students. Event: All students will spar up to a 2 minutes against 1 partner and then a second will enter where the student will spar 2 on 1, again for 2 minutes. This will include everyone going through the same format. There will be 4 seniors (master belts) who will be taking notes, the awards will not necessarily go to who has won, it will be based on other aspects , for example improvements made. How hard one has worked to attain there level. What student has most etiquette, who demonstrates Moo Do spirit etc. After all students has completed this stage we will then move onto Hyungs, the student will perform their chosen hyung. Again 4 seniors (master belts) will be taking notes. At the end of the event there will be a 30 minute break and 3 awards will be given. Outstanding award, this means that a student has shown Moo Do spirit, etiquette, technique, awareness etc. Award of Excellence, this means that a student has excelled and shown true excellence. Great achievement award, this means that the senior master belts recognize great efforts made.
In the evening a BBQ will be planned to get together.
